Visit of the Angolan Ambassador at the University of Miskolc

On February 25, 2015. we have welcomed H.E. Lizeth N. Satumbo Pena, Ambassador of Angola to Hungary.

The Ambassador, heading a delegation of five, had a meeting with the rector Prof. Dr. András Torma. Following this, Prof. Dr. Tamás Kékesi, deputy rector for scientific and international affairs, presented our university to the Ambassador and her delegation in the Selmec hall. During the ensueing informal talks it has come up that the South African country with very rich resources of oil, precious metals and other minerals would very much like to send students to our university in future, first of all to the technical faculties.

After the meeting the Ambassador and her delegation did a short walk through the university visited the laboratories of the Faculty of Technical Material Sciences and even had a glimpse into a lecture.
