43rd Aniversary of Angolan National Day

In the framework of the vast program for the 43rd Anniversary of our Independence, on November 13, 2018 our Diplomatic Mission in Hungary developed the following activities:

Inauguration of the photo exhibition under the motto "United in the Construction of a Better Angola".

Participation in the Conference on the Bicentennial of the birth of László Magyar, Hungarian explorer and geographer who lived in Angola in the 19th century, which took place at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.

In this ceremony commemorating Independence Day, the Hungarian Government was represented by Mr. Márk Horváth, Director for Africa at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Members of the Angolan community in Hungary, of the Diplomatic Corps, political entities, university professors and several others attended. The event was followed by a cultural evening.
