Farewell Barbecue for H.E. Palestine and H.E. Egypt

On July 27, 2018, a sunny and warm afternoon, the Ambassador of Angola to Hungary organized a barbecue to bid farewell to H.E. Marie-Antoinette SEDIN, Ambassador of Palestine to Hungary and H.E. Mahmoud ELMAGHRABY, Ambassador of Egypt to Hungary, as well as Mr. Ali Achoui, Counsellor of the Embassy of Algeria in Budapest / treasurer of the Group of African Ambassadors in Hungary and Mrs. Luísa de Almeida Pascoal, Counsellor of the Embassy of Angola in Budapest.

The doors of the Angolan residence opened for several diplomats and outstanding scientific and cultural representatives who attended the party. A big white tent provided nice shade and enhanced the elegant and charming setting. Hot and cold buffet and an opulent grill welcomed the guests with irresistible delicacies and refreshments.

H.E. Lizeth Pena gave a hearty welcome to all and pronounced a short speech. The Ambassador of Azerbaijan, in his quality as Deputy Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, handed over a beautiful Herend china gift to the departing diplomats who in turn thanked for it with a few emotional words. The party proceeded in a pleasant free and easy mood. A moment of peace and relaxation in the continually moving diplomatic world.
